ACH Activity

The ACH The ACH is a network of regional associations, inter-bank associations, and private-sector processors. ACH payments are processed and settled electronically, thereby increasing reliability, efficiency and cost effectiveness. ACH payments are generally settled in one day or greater. Activity function lets you view only that ACH activity which was initiated or uploaded by you. The screen can show tables for pending batches, denied batches, completed and uploaded batches, and imported ACH files.

To display the ACH Activity screen:

·         Select the ACH option on the Funds Transfer menu and then click ACH Activity. The ACH Activity screen appears.

Note that you can sort either table by clicking the up and down arrows in the column headers.

·         To delete a pending ACH submittal, check its Select box and click the Delete button.

·         To resubmit a pending ACH submittal, check its Select box and click the Resubmit button.

Note:  If you are required to prefund ACH activity, you will have FI Pending batches that may not be re-submitted while awaiting FI review and approval.  

 

The Preview screen will display the following participant information in the database:

 

'Approve' will complete and submit the participants to the participant table.

'Cancel' will remove the Import Job completely from the system.

Please note that 'Approving' the Import Job does not initiate a ACH Batch.  'Approving' the Pending Job will store the changes to the Participant table and/or Batch Template. You must access the ACH Initiate screen for the normal manual initiation process once the Pending Job has been approved.

The date ranges for transactions are displayed based on the following defaults:
